Overview:
Fictional documentary about the life of the mysterious Leonard Zelig, a social chameleon who could assume the form and mannerisms of whoever he was with. During the 1920s and 30s, Zelig was a national phenomenon, appearing at a baseball game with Babe Ruth, at a luncheon with President Hoover, dancing with Fanny Brice and in a crowd scene with Wall Street speculators. But behind the success was a troubled soul seeking acceptance through a variety of guises.
