Overview:
A romantic comedy about two New Yorkers who unknowingly fall in love via email while unknowingly becoming bitter rivals in the real world. Joe Fox (Tom Hanks) of Fox Books is an opportunist opening a branch of his successful chain of bookstores in the neighborhood of a struggling mom-and-pop bookstore owned by Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan). They clash when they meet in person, but their online personas, 'Shopgirl' and 'NY152', develop a deep and witty connection.
