Overview
A darkly comic drama adapted from Nick Cave s novel, The Death of Bunny Munro follows a fast-talking, door-to-door cosmetics salesman whose life begins to disintegrate after the sudden death of his wife. Grief-stricken yet unable to let go of his compulsions, Bunny drags his young son on a chaotic road trip along the English coast under the pretense of one last sales run. As they drift through faded seaside towns and eerie motel rooms, the boy searches for stability and meaning while his father is haunted by guilt, desire, and surreal visions that blur memory with myth. The story probes masculinity, addiction, and the possibility of redemption, balancing pulp-noir menace with moments of unexpected tenderness between father and son. Both intimate and hallucinatory, it paints a portrait of a man racing his own ruin and a child discovering the truth of the person he loves most.
