The Chosen One

Set in the arid Sertão region of northeastern Brazil, The Chosen One is a supernatural thriller based on the graphic novel O Escolhido. It follows a humble healer who discovers that a young boy possesses miraculous powers capable of healing the sick and even raising the dead. As word spreads, the boy is targeted by a ruthless pharmaceutical executive who seeks to exploit his abilities for profit.
