Case Closed

Case Closed, also known as Detective Conan, is a Japanese anime series based on the manga of the same name by Gosho Aoyama. The story centers around Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who, after being poisoned by a mysterious organization, is transformed into a child. Taking on the alias Conan Edogawa, he lives with his childhood friend Ran Mouri and her father, Kogoro Mouri, a private detective. Conan uses his wits and various gadgets created by Dr. Agasa to solve cases while he seeks to gather evidence against the Black Organization responsible for his condition. Throughout the series, Conan solves numerous cases with his astute observational and deductive skills. As Conan, he often helps the bumbling Kogoro solve crimes, inadvertently giving him the reputation of being a genius detective, while he continues to search for clues that might lead to a cure and help him regain his original form. The series not only focuses on individual cases and mysteries but also explores recurring story arcs involving the Black Organization, introducing characters such as Vermouth, Gin, and Vodka who are linked to the syndicate. Meanwhile, Conan gains allies, including Ai Haibara, a former member of the Black Organization who shares his condition. The series frequently mixes humor, drama, and suspense, providing engaging mysteries while detailing Conan's quest for justice and his interactions with various characters.
